Our Humble Beginnings
A friend of mine offered to teach me how to make a purse like she had. I went to her house and learned as much as I could in a night and came home to show Brian. He was amazed and went out the next day to JoAnn's Fabrics to find more material. "Let's make some more!" he said. I made a few with my little sisters and then another friend asked if she could bring me some fabric and handles for me to make her one. This was the beginning of an exciting family business! Brian chose fun material and cut out all different shapes and sizes of bags and I sewed them together. That first summer, we made Lukas' preschool backpack and diaper bags for my sis-in-laws having their first babies.
